These uncommon names are derived from the organism's Latin name. In addition, each specie has a special reason why they acquired their name.

If the organism has antlers it is called Cervus canadensis
3. If the organism has a long nose it is called a Canis latrans
If the organism does't have a long nose it is called a Puma concolor
